Even the best MVC evaporator is in some cases not enough to do the job right without suitable peripheral equipment. Problem constituents which can require custom solutions include volatile substances and isotopes. Whatever pollutants are present, e.g. glycol, ammonia or other substances, LOFT has the right solution in store for any application.

 

The custom-selected equipment may be integrated in the evaporator (labyrinth filer, column, UV post-treatment, etc.) or realized peripherally (e.g. quality monitoring, coalescent oil separators, temperature control and/or biological post-treatment).

 

Disposal of the concentrate is also extremely important with regard to cost-efficient operation of an evaporator. Constantly striving to support their customers, LOFT offers further important developments in this sector. One example here is the patented LOFT FCH-C thickener which can evaporate emulsions to oil contents of 85 % as determined by Karl Fischer titration. But not only with oil emulsions, with glycols as well, this system attains concentrations which were heretofore not possible with economically viable energy inputs.
