When buying an evaporator, the following points should be taken into account.
- Is the nominal throughput capacity sufficient for your expected wastewater quantities?
- Are the capacity specifications provided for the evaporator valid for your wastewater and guaranteed?
- Is the energy consumption specified for the evaporator valid for your wastewater and guaranteed?
- Are concentrate specifications provided for the evaporator and guaranteed? For example a post-evaporation concentrate water content resulting from emulsion evaporation of < 50 % (determined by the Karl Fischer method)
All of the above points interact with each other and must be fulfilled.
If this is not the case, the expected performance, costs and the entire application of the evaporator following start up may differ substantially from expectations.
Accordingly our quotations submitted to you specify evaporator design and performance data formulated and guaranteed for your wastewaters. The performance data in the quotation are valid for your wastewater. The result: reliability in your capacity expectations (many competitive evaporator manufacturers quote designs and performance data calculated for tap water which are almost meaningless in practice).
